Our Story
Find the good in life.
Inspired by those with less belongings and filled with more worth. After 10 years of building strong professional relationships with Timor we have decided to bring Timor to You. The wonder of East Timor lies just off the coast of Darwin, Australia and East of Indonesia. It is a true hidden gem of rugged jungle and authentic village communities.
Project Tmore is here to help and support Timor develop, grow and succeed. Our projects aim to support and strengthen: teacher employment, free English lessons for children and develop community led-initiatives. In the future we wish to broaden our support into Environmental and Health projects. Starting with educational learning centres and building other projects as we grow. Our projects are powered from product sales, grants and donations.
Our aim is to not just fund Timor with handouts but help Timor get a hand up and build entrepreneurial, business orientated and forward-thinking communities to boost their livelihoods, access to basic supplies and economy. Our philosophy is inspired by the following concept "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."
We aim to support and build on what they already have and authentically find out what they need, before applying Western goggles on stereotypical assumptions. We employ and work with Timorese people on the ground and empower them with new skills, equipment, and resources.

Where it all began...
Project Tmore began with two people brought together by a shared heart for service and a deep belief in the good of humanity.
Ben Princehorn is an Australian legal studies teacher, Director of Community Service, and a values-driven entrepreneur. Known for his compassion and leadership, Ben continually seeks opportunities to be involved in both local and international communities. His work is grounded in relationships, action, and a strong sense of responsibility to give back with a "hand up" approach.
Bianca Crawford is an art and design teacher, previously Head of Secondary Art, now business owner, artist, industrial designer, and South African living in Australia. With experience in community-based projects and volunteering across multiple countries, Bianca carries a strong passion for creative education, social impact, and service. Her work is guided by connection, creativity, and the belief that education should be accessible, meaningful, and empowering.
Ben and Bianca connected through a shared desire to serve others, to see beyond privilege, and to build something that mattered — something bigger than themselves. Blessing others with what we have been blessed with.
The why?
When visiting Timor you think you are going over to give and bless them. Until you arrive and spend a week there and realised how much they have taught, given and blessed you. Streets filled with smiles. Soccer fields filled with laughter. Markets filled with fresh fruit, live stock and Beatle nut. Churches filled with joy and angelic voices. Mountains covered in thick forest and oceans thriving with abundant sea life. It's a magical place, untouched, rugged and precious, but has very little resources.
Project Tmore was born from a simple belief: education changes lives, and meaningful change begins when people choose to look beyond their own world.
We believe in small, intentional actions — the kind that start as ripples but have the power to become waves. Project Tmore exists to inspire generosity, shared responsibility, and human connection across borders. It is about seeing others, understanding their reality, and responding with compassion, dignity, and hope.
At its heart, Project Tmore is about passing on opportunity — From You, To Timor.

A shared vision...
Timor-Leste quickly became close to our hearts. Ben has visited Timor five times over the last 10 years; building relationships, listening, learning, and understanding the needs of local communities. Bianca has visited once, but shares an equally strong commitment to the people, culture, and future of Timor-Leste.
Through these experiences, one thing became clear: education was the most powerful place to start, with as little as 20% of students enrolled in preschool and 50% of the youth population dropping out or leaving school.
Learning centres offered a way to support children directly, create local employment, and work alongside communities rather than over them. By supporting local teachers, providing resources, and creating safe learning spaces, Project Tmore contributes to long-term, community-led change.
More than just a project
Project Tmore is not about quick fixes or charity for charity’s sake. It is about partnership, dignity, and sustainability. It is about inviting others to look beyond their own resources and recognise how much impact they can have — simply by choosing to care.
What began as a shared idea has grown into a project grounded in relationships, trust, and hope.
And this is only the beginning.
We hope you are excited to jump in and join the ride.
Team work is the dream work, because we CAN!
